Binge-watchable and watching on repeat

Sometimes on the road, there are occasions (yes, brace yourselves this really does happen) that we won't have wifi, so often times we'll have the same old things downloaded on Netflix so we know we have something to watch, but the trouble is; which shows are binge-watchable, and which are repeatable?

So, here's my thinking; not all shows that are binge-watachable are repeatable, but all shows that are repeatable are also binge-watchable, are you with me?

So a show like The Hauting of Hill House is totally binge-watchable, but not nessecarily repeatable because, well, it's so much an 'easy going' show, right? but Brooklyn nine-nine is tense moments mixed in with childish humour, and it's just long enough that by the time you end it, the beginning still feels semi-unfamililar. So, does my logic make sense yet? Good, lets rank some shows.

F.R.I.E.N.D.S.

Definitely Binge-watchable, and 100% rewatchable

I know that for some reason I have an unpopular opinion here, but I think that shows outdated jokes, cringey humour, dramatic plot twists and romamtic entanglements are a distraction from the real world. This show plummets me into a parallel universe in which all problems cease to exist, only those 6 Friends have issues that are worth noting and I am fully englufed in their childish attempts to, essentially, adult. I even have it on as back-ground noise sometimes as it's only the odd scene that I actually find distracting, and maybe this is how I find out that actually a little bonkers, but hey ho, the guys and I love Chandlers insesscant slew of sarcasm and Rachel's hot-ass whining.... I think?

the Big Bang Theory

Again, this one is a mixed bag in popularity, but I think it's a winner for one big reason.

Less Binge-able but 90% rewatchable

Bazinga.”

I love Big Bang Theory, I must say I do, but also see why others dislike it. The show, just falls short in a lot of ways and maybe it's the lack of more dramatic plot points, but if I don't get through watching it all the first time, I won't be watching it a second. Although no body can deny the iconic-ness of Howard's Bernadette song, or Sheldon's Nobel rize speech, but these moments just aren't enough to bring me back.

And now, you also have to remember were talking a no-wifi-and-rainy-evening-on-the-road kind of boredom so choosing not to watch some of your only hours of bingeable content is a big decision!

However, on a more serious note, this show is still wonderful, very well made and now it even has it's own spin-off, Young Sheldon, which is arguable better in both chategaries, but both shows will still shown up in my downlaods from time-to time.

Fresh Prince of Bell Air

100% Binge-watchable and I am always down to re-watch!

Without commenting on the Prince's current misfortunes, I have to recommend this show for it's endless fun, and 'that hit me right in feels' moments, not those huge moments we all know covering racism or racial stereotypes, but the little ones depicting lonliness, and fear, making the whole experience even more eveloping when you relate to Will over his hatred of spoilt Hilary, or fall endlessly in love with Ashley for her strong-headed, sweet nature, or... dammit, what was the Butler's name again? He was one of the best characters! You're on a rollercoaster between crying and laughter and you just don't want to get off.

Suits

Binge-worthy, but...

This show is up there as one of the greats in my books. The storylines are so in-depth and the drama just doesn't stop coming, but once one of main characters leaves (spoiler alert) Mike Ross, I feel like the show drags its' feet. They repeat a lot of the same storylines and dillemma and although it's still entertaining, it is certainly slower paced until Mike makes his reappearance and Harvey FINALLY understands his own feelings without having them Donna-splained.

It's a good rewatch, but who wants to suffer for like 2 slow seasons to get an ending you now already know quite well? Not me please.

Disenchartment

Binge-watch all day long! Rewatch...

I have so much to say about this show. It is so funny, charming, quirky, irrevent, I first watched it when only first season was out, and since then I have faithfully rewatched from S1E1 all the way through and I can safely say that I am pretty damn bored of Series one. Every season after that does not dissapoint, this show just gets more intense and more random and honestly? I can't wait to see what they come up with next.
